Christchurch airport

Chch Airport is the South islands biggest airport and it was built in 1937 and it was opened publicly
in 1950.

About airport
The Chch airport has a large, new domestic terminal, three runways:Main:3288 meters,Secondary:1741 meters,Aeroclub:515 meters,International wing with over 28000 square meters of space and a control tower over 40 meters high.

Before planes with heavy duty wheels or airports with proper runways, planes with water skis had to land near harbours or beaches.

Chch airport has a number of planes that aren't air NZ parked here everyday, here is a list of links that chch airport lets these services land:
•Air Chathams
•AirNz link
•Fiji Airways
•Mainland Air
•Singapore Airlines
•Virgin Australia
and Uzbekistan Airways.
I the future China Southern Airlines will land here.

Chch Airport is the second busiest airport  in NZ and its one of the two airports in NZ that can handle the Boeing 747 and the Boeing 777.

Here is some photos of my draft.
